welcome the opportunity to work with cooperating real estate agents
acting as either a Seller's Agent or Buyer's Agent.
Refer a Listing
An
auction is a powerful selling method
that can benefit both you and your clients! A
real estate agent or broker can a
3% referral fee by referring their listing to us. We would be happy
to meet with you and your client to discuss a potential auction.
Some characteristics of
good auction properties:
- investment/rental, income
producing
- unique
or historical
- has
been on the market and needs a "boost" of interest
- sellers
are in a time-sensitive situation and need a fast "as
is" sale
(purchased another home, relocating, financial issues)
Responsibilities
of Referring Agent/Broker:
- Help seller analyze his/her needs, the property, and
market to determine if a good auction situation exists
- Refer seller to professional real estate auction company
- If a negotiated sale listing agreement exists, cancel
the previous listing to be superseded by an auction contract
- Send notice to MLS stating that the property will
be sold at public auction
- Collect referral fee from auction company when the
property closes
